Florence Crittenton Home and Services – Helena, Montana

helena logoFor 106 years, the Florence Crittenton Home has maintained a strong tradition of caring for pregnant and parenting young women from across the state of Montana. Florence Crittenton is a licensed therapeutic, residential program located in the capital city of Helena, Montana that provides hope and a second chance to pregnant and parenting adolescent mothers and their children. At Florence Crittenton girls find a path to a bright new beginning.

Our goal is to help girls through the transition of pregnancy and into motherhood. With over 107 years of experience in working with pregnant and parenting women, Florence Crittenton provides the perfect environment for learning about the options of parenting and adoption planning. No matter what the outcome, we are here to support and encourage girls as they learn to form secure, healthy attachments and solid bonds. Our prenatal and parenting classes center on the importance of the bond between parent and child with the intent of helping new mother to create a strong relationship with her child. While living at Florence Crittenton, each girl will participate in our independent-living-skills training which will equip her to be successful once she leaves.

Many of the girls we serve have mental health diagnoses, behavioral issues, chemical dependency issues, or are runaways. Through our wealth of experience we work through these issues, integrating family at this crucial time in both mother and baby’s life. Our staff of committed professionals provides compassion, hope, accountability, love, and counseling.
