About Us - The Crittenton Family of Agencies

Crittenton Services for Children and Families – Fullerton, California

fullerton logoCrittenton’s mission is to help heal the wounds of abuse and neglect; serve families–birth, foster or adoptive; and help troubled youths reach their full potential. Established in Southern California 1966, Crittenton provides residential treatment to children (boys and girls ages 6-12) and adolescent girls (ages 12-21) who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect, who are pregnant or parenting, or who have entered the juvenile justice system as youth offenders.

All clients in our care have been assessed as needing intensive therapy, socialization skills, independent living skills, and "tender loving care" in a structured setting. To further serve our clients, we also promote substance abuse treatment, a transitional living program, and a foster care agency. We currently serve 148 children and adolescents in residential settings and more than 50 additional children living in foster homes throughout Southern California.

No matter who is being served, Crittenton is there with therapists and counselors who can help. Whether providing community education classes, private therapy, or inpatient care, Crittenton’s highly trained professional staff of more than 250 is there, when and where they are needed, serving the people of Southern California. We are making life better for individuals, helping families in difficult times, and ensuring that those who come to Crittenton are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
